🐽 What is BARPIG?
What if a game gave you the power to make your friends dance, act, rhyme, or race for glory — and then let you betray them with a sneaky twist?
That’s BARPIG: equal parts challenge, chaos, and charm.
Players race to reach the winning level by rolling a dice, except the player who last gained a level (power rollers, take a break!).
Highest roll (usually after some severe item card wars, see below) gains a level, and activates one of the 10 group challenges as described on their character card.
These Challenges will always involve the whole group of players, and call on everyone’s creativity, dexterity, and wit whilst also using the space and objects around them. This makes BARPIG endlessly replayable, no two rounds of the same Character challenge will ever be the same.
Whoever loses the challenge also loses Sober and Drink points. Lose too many Sober points and you’ll lose levels!
In between each challenge round players can exchange their drink points to acquire one of the 12 strategic item card types. These can be used at any time and have a wide range of effects such as stealing turns, deflecting damage, change a player’s character card, or even cancelling other item cards.

🎲 How is it Played?
Learn in 2 rounds, laugh for hours
Step 1 – Roll to activate your Character card
All players except whoever last gained a level roll the dice – Highest roll gains a level, and take control of the game by activating their Character card — from Rumrauder to Alechemist — each with it’s own real-world challenge for the group.
Step 2 – Take on the Challenge
Act, rhyme, race, or outsmart your friends.
Each Character challenge will have all players give their own creative input to ensure they don’t lose out.
Convince your fellow player’s you’re not a vampire, explain how you’d use a house plant to siege the ISS, show off your moonwalk in a dance battle, or be the quickest to touch the top of the beer tap at the bar.
Step 3 – Take damage, lose drinks, or exact your Revenge!
Whoever loses the challenge (and this can be more than just one player) will also lose Drink points, used to acquire Item cards, and one Sober point. Lose too many Sober points and you’ll start losing levels, however you’ll stay in the game – BARPIG has no player elimination!
Or, instead of losing the Challenge, why not throw in one of the 12 strategic Item cards to fudge the dice roll, steal the turn, change the Challenge, deflect damage, or even cancel another Item just played. This is when things get delightfully vindictive 😈.
Step 4 – Build your arsenal
In-between Challenge rounds all players have the opportunity to build their hand of Item cards in exchange for their Drink points. Bar tab running low? A simple forfeit of being able to gain an item gives you the chance to build up your point supply for the next round.
